The Hell Is Us Universe Expands with a New Digital Comic

The world of Hell Is Us comes to life in a brand-new 16-page digital prequel comic, now available for free at nacongaming.com.

This tie-in story is a collaboration between publisher NACON, developer Rogue Factor, and Dead Good Comics.

The comic follows Remi, the main protagonist of Hell Is Us, revealing the pivotal events leading up to the start of the game—events that drive him to abandon his role as a peacekeeper and infiltrate the mysterious land of Hadea.

Featuring stunning artwork by Andrea Scalmazzi (Dune: House Corrino, Samuel Stern) and Antonio Antro (LEGO Batman Magazine, Power Rangers), the comic is based on a story by Stu Taylor (Crusader Kings III: Many Roads to Power, Octobriana and the Underground, Warhammer Monthly), under the creative direction of Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative & Art Director for Hell Is Us.

“Dead Good Comics is honored to collaborate with the talented creative team at Rogue Factor and deliver the first comic book adaptation of this dark and mysterious world,” said Stu Taylor of Dead Good Comics.

“This gorgeous book, which directly connects to the game’s opening events, gives players a deeper look at Remi and his motivations,” added Jonathan Jacques-Belletête. “We can’t wait for players to experience the adventure through the demo, available on PC and consoles from August 12 to 28, and of course, when the full game launches on September 4.”

A free demo for Hell Is Us is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 from August 12–28, 2025.

The full game releases September 4, 2025, with the comic available now for free at nacongaming.com.
